A. Swetha - Every degree of reiki will last only for one day. But is it a crash course to know about reiki or did u actually do your first degree? Sounds more like you did your first degree kada. Cheppaanuga, there will be many who do their first degree and never use it ani.

According to me, in reiki you need to first learn to be strong(mentally). I didn't have this ability in the begining, so I used to get easily impressed by any energy around me (either +ve or -ve). Then once I learnt how to control the energy flow through me, there was no looking back.

A. Swetha - Doctors rarely believe in any form of healing, other than their's. Coming to the difference between science and miracle, there is only a small but significant difference between the two. Science is discovered and explained facts. Miracles are also facts, but yet to be explained and understood. Why is it easy to imagine and believe mobile technology, wherein, you can just dial a number in one end of the world, and the phone rings on the other end? It is easy because, man has learnt to understand, control and use this technology. What I am trying to say here is that, just because something hasn't been totally explained and understood, it cannot be claimed as non-existent. Have you heard about telekinesis? Did you know that there is extensive R&D going on about the same? If people can believe that thoughts can have affect physical matter, then thoughts should defintely be some form of energy. Everything apart, most doctors know that the first step to recovery is the patient's own belief that he/ she will recover. Why should thought affect a physical system? Most doctors believe in positive energy and negative energy. What is this +ve enegery and -ve energy? Is it a tangible, well known energy? Does it come from any known form of energy? if so, which form of energy? Haven't all of us been in places which have felt depressive, dull and disconsorting despite the place being sparkling clean and bright? Why should something be hard to believe just because we dont understand it and cannot control it?
